Wedding Makeup: FREELANCE WORK!

Hello!! lovely ladies so i know its been awhile right? if you keep up with me on Facebook you would know i just got done for the year at uni and so I have been SUPER busy+stressful these past couple of months thankfully im all done for the year and ready to dive back into updating my pages for you all woohoo!!, so moving on today I wanted to do a write up on my first hand experience as a Makeup Freelance as i did promise to give feedback on this on my Youtube Page.

This makeup was done about 2 months ago, when i was asked to do a job for a cousin of mines friend  that was getting married, at the time i was super nervous because it was my first ever proper attempt at professional makeup and i dont know about you ladies but to me a wedding is like a HUGE deal and being a NEWBE i really did feel a tiny ounce in the deep end, needless to say i am a girl who loves challenges and so I agreed to doing the job, in total i had to do a bride and 5 bridesmaids makeup a total of 6 ladies and WOW! it was full on from start to finish!, leading up to the job i did have a lot of practice and preparation for it which i might add is really helpful specially if your new to it all, on the day of the wedding i only managed to grab a couple of pictures of the bride and the matron of honor as you will see below, I  will also try to put as much info on products used that i can remember below the images.

Products Used: Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturiser, Nude by Nature Primer, Makeup Forever HD foundation, Model Co Concealer, Nyx Brow Powder, NARS Deep Throat Blush,NARS Laguna Bronzer, Urban Decay Sin Primer, Urban Decay 15 Year Palette Eyeshadows, Urban Decay Whiskey Eyeliner, Maybelline Gel Liner, Fashion Lashes - EL43.

Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizer, Nude by Nature Primer, Cover Girl Foundation, Model Co Concealer, Nyx Brow Powder, NYX Mocha Blush, Bourjois Chocolate Bronzer,  Urban Decay Eden Primer, Sleek Storm Palette + NAKED Palette for Eyeshadows, Urban Decay Zero Eyeliner, Maybelline Gel Liner, Max Factor False Lash Mascara.

Keep in mind it was my first go so be nice! lol, all in all this was an amazing experience and the brides and bridesmaids were very happy with my job =), this has really given me great first hand experience in the Makeup Industry and i am really thankful for this opportunity she and her bridesmaids gave me, I really  hope this post will encourage or even inspire any of you ladies who are considering freelancing or full time makeup artistry, As it really is a great job being able to make people feel as beautiful as they are so i hope you all enjoyed my write up here, & i hope you all enjoy your weeks or weekends to come xox!

Be sure to write your comments and questions below ladies =), more swatches and reviews are to come on here so stay tuned xxo!!

Hey loves so i wanted to blog about these jeffery campbell wedges i picked up this week,if you follow me on Facebook you would have seen these in advance but for those who have not here we are =),So i was browsing Trademe last week which is New Zealands own little ebay sort of site and i came accross a seller who was selling these for a good deal because she had purchased a size to big,Nedless to say i jumped at the chance to grab these babies and here we are,so a little about these shoes well they are open-toe suede kiltie booties which feature tassels at the front. They are Covered with elastic gore inset and exposed zip at inner side and they also have Rubber soles. The heels measure at 4.25" which is a great size heel for comfort not to big and not to small. So enough about the specs onto the main question are they comfortable?Well i am happy to report an A+ for these shoes they are everything i imagined in a wedge the inner sole is so comfy i even quoted on Facebook "they feel like im walking on cushions lol, well thats it for me i hope you all enjoy the rest of your week let me know if you grab a pair i would love to hear your thoughts take care loves xxxo.

Hey loves so i recently purchased the NYX Nude on Nude palette to compare against my Urban Decay Naked palette as i heard this was a dupe somewhere and i wanted to test it for myself, and i must say this palette is pretty impressive however having said that i do NOT think this is a DUPE for UD Naked Palette but rather a good cheaper alternative for shades which run from neutral to dramatic so if you dont like spending a tone on makeup this would suit you. So first of i want to address its packaging i feel that the packaging is very cute and light weight the compact is made from plastic and has a semi clear lid where you can clearly see the shadows through, and i love that underneath the shadows you can pull out 10 lip colors which range from pinks to reds this definitely makes it a versatile product because you kind of get a 2 in 1 deal here.Onto the price this palette cost me $22.50 US/$27.61 NZ which is awesome as the UD/NAKED Palette is around $48US/58.91 NZ so if you are after a cheaper alternative this definitely is a great buy, also this was purchased from Pork if you are wondering and i found them to be the cheapest for not only the palette but shipping so i will post a link below so you can check them out i believe they are having a 10% off sale at the moment =),below are some pictures of the palette i hope you all enjoy your week and let me know if you have any questions.

So thats all i have for you lovely ladies today i may do a look using this palette and post a picture with or without swatches later on but i hope this post helps some of you get a insight into the palette, happy shopping everyone xxo!
