Wedding Makeup: FREELANCE WORK!

Hello!! lovely ladies so i know its been awhile right? if you keep up with me on Facebook you would know i just got done for the year at uni and so I have been SUPER busy+stressful these past couple of months thankfully im all done for the year and ready to dive back into updating my pages for you all woohoo!!, so moving on today I wanted to do a write up on my first hand experience as a Makeup Freelance as i did promise to give feedback on this on my Youtube Page.

This makeup was done about 2 months ago, when i was asked to do a job for a cousin of mines friend  that was getting married, at the time i was super nervous because it was my first ever proper attempt at professional makeup and i dont know about you ladies but to me a wedding is like a HUGE deal and being a NEWBE i really did feel a tiny ounce in the deep end, needless to say i am a girl who loves challenges and so I agreed to doing the job, in total i had to do a bride and 5 bridesmaids makeup a total of 6 ladies and WOW! it was full on from start to finish!, leading up to the job i did have a lot of practice and preparation for it which i might add is really helpful specially if your new to it all, on the day of the wedding i only managed to grab a couple of pictures of the bride and the matron of honor as you will see below, I  will also try to put as much info on products used that i can remember below the images.

Products Used: Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturiser, Nude by Nature Primer, Makeup Forever HD foundation, Model Co Concealer, Nyx Brow Powder, NARS Deep Throat Blush,NARS Laguna Bronzer, Urban Decay Sin Primer, Urban Decay 15 Year Palette Eyeshadows, Urban Decay Whiskey Eyeliner, Maybelline Gel Liner, Fashion Lashes - EL43.

Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizer, Nude by Nature Primer, Cover Girl Foundation, Model Co Concealer, Nyx Brow Powder, NYX Mocha Blush, Bourjois Chocolate Bronzer,  Urban Decay Eden Primer, Sleek Storm Palette + NAKED Palette for Eyeshadows, Urban Decay Zero Eyeliner, Maybelline Gel Liner, Max Factor False Lash Mascara.

Keep in mind it was my first go so be nice! lol, all in all this was an amazing experience and the brides and bridesmaids were very happy with my job =), this has really given me great first hand experience in the Makeup Industry and i am really thankful for this opportunity she and her bridesmaids gave me, I really  hope this post will encourage or even inspire any of you ladies who are considering freelancing or full time makeup artistry, As it really is a great job being able to make people feel as beautiful as they are so i hope you all enjoyed my write up here, & i hope you all enjoy your weeks or weekends to come xox!

Be sure to write your comments and questions below ladies =), more swatches and reviews are to come on here so stay tuned xxo!!

Stay Beautiful and Confident As Always Ladies

  1. Great job girl, I too was asked by a cousin to do a friends makeup for her wedding, ended up doing hers and her bridesmaids. The worst part for me was whether they liked it or not LOL
